Rugged Oregon Coast in the Spring

"The most photogenic coastline in the World"

May 23-29, 2010

Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Oregon Coast USA

Oregon has one of the most scenic, diverse, and photogenic coastlines in the entire World. On this weeklong photo odyssey you can expect to see and photograph natural wonders that will leave you awe-inspired.  Examples of the photo subjects are: dramatic sea stacks (i.e., huge monoliths of rock), beautiful sandy beaches, dramatic rocky headlands that tower over the Pacific ocean up to hundreds of feet high, flowing and sensual sand dunes, coastal forests, waterfalls, majestic old lighthouses, grand bridges and historic working harbors. You will also visit some of Jeff's favorite locations for photographing coastal wildlife such as seal, sea lions, birds, and tide pool creatures such as starfish and anemone.

Since Jeff lives and works on the Oregon Coast, you can expect that he will take you to locations that are "off the beaten path" in pursuit of stunning and unique scenery.

Typically, by the middle of May, you can expect to find the weather on the coast to be nearly perfect. Warm days that glow with the springtime light provide the ideal effect for seascape photography. The focus of this tour is from Bandon Beach on the South coast to Cannon Beach on the North coast, providing a diversity of photography subjects that are second to none. If you like oceans, beaches, coastal wildlife, and water then this is the trip for you.

Many of the locations are roadside or require a short hike to deliver us to extraordinary locations. As is true for all of Jeff's tours, you can not only expect to have photographic opportunities be maximized but you will also get significant time with learning Jeff's post-processing techniques. Come join Jeff for a photo adventure of a lifetime!
