Glacier Mountain Goats

Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado

"A photographic exploration of the splendors of this mountainous

and high desert wonderland"

September 26- October 2, 2010

The geographic region of Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado provides a diversity of photographic subjects that are hard to believe. From the semi-arid mountainous landscapes near Santa Fe and Taos to the fourteen thousand foot peaks that surround the Great Sand Dunes National Park, you will not be lacking for stunning subjects to point your camera. Join your experienced guide, Jeff Jessing, on a expedition to photograph mountains, sand dunes, canyons, forests, native american ruins & pueblos, and desert badlands.

This region in September/October typically delivers the best in scenery, wildlife opportunities, fair weather, a chance of fall color.  The days are typically in the 50º F to 70º F range (depending on the elevation) and with cooler evenings. You will be photographing landscapes from the high deserts of New Mexico to the near alpine regions in Colorado. Jeff will get you to the best locations at the right times to maximize the drama in the scenes.  You will walk away from this trip with an unforgettable photo adventure.

Many of the locations are roadside or require a short hike to deliver us to extraordinary locations. As is true for all of Jeff's tours, you can not only expect to have photographic opportunities be maximized but you will also get significant time with learning Jeff's post-processing techniques. Come join us for a unique photo expedition.
