2008 Photo Tour Schedule

I invite you to spend a week with me photographing the most spectacular natural locations in the Western U.S. Regardless of your photography experience, my goal during these intensive photographic tours is to push your photographic development and experience to the next level and beyond. The small groups (maximum of 6 participants per tour) allows me to spend focused attention on each participant throughout the entire duration of the tour. All of my workshops and tours are offered at locations that I have extensive photographic knowledge meaning that I know how to get you to stunning locations at the prime times. While we will photograph iconic sites, you can expect that I will get you to lesser known but equally spectacular locations.

My commitment to you is:

• Provide an exciting, creative, enjoyable, respectful, noncompetitive, and supportive environment for all participants.
• Maximize your photographic opportunities by getting you to incredibly rich photographic locations at the prime times. You will walk away with a greatly expanded portfolio of stunning images.
• Provide expert (and patient) instruction on all aspects of technical photography including advanced techniques for field capture and digital darkroom. I show you how I shoot (nothing is held back)!!! Further, I have over 15 years of teaching experience at Universities and in the private sector. In my career prior to pursuing photography fulltime, I was a college professor who taught electrical engineering at the undergraduate and graduate level. I know how to teach effectively to a wide array of different personalities.
• Provide guidance on photographic artistry including composing strong images, understanding the quality of light and incorporating this understanding into your photography, finding photographic locations and subject matter, and developing your own unique artistic visualization and style.
• Provide constructive feedback on the technical and artistic merits of the images made each day during the tour.
• I will share my passion for nature and photography with you throughout your adventure and hopefully either spark a fire within you or add fuel to your own passion.

Registration Information:

Workshop Costs Include: Lodging (based on double occupancy) and continental breakfasts; Ground transportation service from origination point throughout the duration of the tour; Applicable entrance fees; Expert photographic guiding and instruction; Detailed course material in the form of typed handouts.

Not Included: Activities not indicated on itinerary; lunch and dinner costs, gratuities; personal use items such as phone, laundry, etc.; film and processing costs, travel/baggage/accident/cancellation insurance;

Transportation: Costs for flights/ground transportation from participants home city to origination point are not included. Participants are responsible for making their own arrangements for the agreed upon arrival time at the origination point for the start of the workshop.

Reservations:  A deposit of $500 is required at the time of registration with the balance due in-full ninety (90) days prior to the start of the tour.  If registration occurs within 90 days of departure, at that time the payment is due in-full. You can reserve a place by calling Nature Revealed Photography at (541) 272-0000.  We accept all major credits cards, or we will hold your reservation for seven days, while awaiting your personal check or money order.  Make checks payable to “Nature Revealed Photography”.  Payments can be mailed to:  Nature Revealed Photography, P.O. Box 408, Depoe Bay, Oregon 97341.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 90 days or more prior to the start of the tour, a refund, less a cancellation fee of 25% of your initial deposit will be made. Per person charges for cancellations received 90 days or less from the trip start date are as follows: 90-60 days - 40% of trip cost; 60 or fewer days prior to departure - 100% of trip cost. The purchase of travel insurance covering baggage, accident/life and trip cancellation is highly recommended. Nature Revealed Photography reserves the right to cancel any group due to insufficient registration. In the even of such cancellation, those with reservations shall be notified as soon as possible and a full refund of trip payment will be given. Nature Revealed Photography is not responsible for additional expenses incurred in preparation for a trip.
If you take more than one Photographic Tour with Nature Revealed during a calendar year, you will receive a $100 discount on the second and all subsequent Workshops that calendar year
